Sainte-Anne d'Auray - Circuit Lann Hir

Duration: 45 minutes Distance: 3.5 km Difficulty level: Easy All year long - Wet in winter This small wetland (1.7 ha) is rich in biodiversity. The ensemble is composed of a mosaic of oak-willow and a boggy afforestation of birch and pine. Recognized as an area of strong ecological interest, it is a refuge area for some species. Based on a management plan, the municipality oversees its development, supported by integration projects that restructure and open the wetland environments by creating ponds, brushing and removing invasive plants. A regular inventory of the site makes it possible to follow its evolution. Too little known to the public, wetlands represent a strong natural heritage. The creation of an interpretive trail is planned in the short term.Departure: From the campsite, head south towards a hedge on an embankment. 1 At the Chalet, cross the campsite for 250 m, enter the site and turn right to go around the wetland. 2 At the end, another embankment conceals a path. Take it to the right and continue. 3 Cross the wooded area and 100 m before the roundabout of the Kerniolen equestrian center (Pluneret), turn left at the sign back to the wetland. Cross a wooded area leading to a hollow road (do not take the path of exploitation). Variation: at the intersection of the equestrian center riding school, turn right towards Sainte-Anne to exit near the Motten street rue Jean-Pierre Calloc'h. Take a right to return to the starting point. 4 At the end of the road, take the road on the left (pylon nearby). Continue straight towards Lomelec. 5 In the village of Lomelec, turn left to join a sunken path. Follow the signs. Turn right then 300 m further to the left (west of a subdivision). Walk along the properties and continue straight on until you reach the buffer pond.Cross the housing estate Kerdeliau, take the path Kerdeliau left then straight on 300 m. Join the starting point on the right in the wetland.
