Duration: 50 minutes Distance: 3 km Level of difficulty: Easy Bring a baby carrier as part of the circuit is not accessible to pushchairs. This circuit is a walk between land and sea, on the edge of the Ria d'Étel. Departure : From Locoal-Mendon, follow the direction Locoal, pass the village and on the left follow the signs "Pointe de la Forest, Chemin de Cadoudal". From the car park at the edge of the wood (La Forest estate), near the large signpost "Chemin de Cadoudal". 1) You start the walk on a fairly wide path which climbs to a small hollow path bordered by old low stone walls covered with moss. Here you will discover the hideout of Cadoudal, General Chouan. On an embankment, large stones mark the entrance. Keep your eyes open! Inside, there is a small space in which one can imagine Chouans hiding, preparing an ambush for the Republicans. Children will love it! 2) A little further on, there is a small clearing in the centre of which stands a magnificent secular oak. You come across some remarkable trees, roots just above the ground, branches and then the horizon clears. 3) The sea appears through the trees, then the path becomes coastal and leads to a splendid panorama of the Ria d'Étel changing with the tides. You will discover oyster beds and small beaches that invite you to take a contemplative break. You will then reach the Pointe de Beg er Lanneg and return to the starting point.
